Sitting by the flickering fireplace
I’m taking down my Christmas tree
Each ornament comes down, one by one

There’s a lot of beauty on it
It’s not just the shiny colors I see
Each ornament holds a cherished memory

Well, there’s glass hearts and crystal angels
The colored balls reflect a happy glow
Things that remind us of a simpler time of
